Here are some photographs of our ‘retired’ Bengals, and of some of our kittens that have found new homes.
Also some small videos of kittens at play.
Glitterglam Arwen of Eriador
Arwen (Wennie) has to be at the top of the list as she was our first Bengal.
It was her purrsonality, intelligence, agility and loving temperament that made me fall in love with the Bengal.
We were so sad when Wennie passed away, and sadly miss her. When she ‘retired’ from having kittens, she loved going out in the garden, and enjoyed sun-bathing on the patio and rolling around on the grass, and playing with our other pets in the garden.
Click on Arwen’s Diary, to read about what it was like having her in the house as a small kitten – not that she changed as she grew into an adult - she was always just as cheeky and mischievous.
Glitterglam Evenstar of Eriador
Oooh we do so miss our Snowy. She gave us some beautiful babies, and has such a great purrsonality - so cheeky, and so like a Bengal. And those eyes are such a rich sapphire blue!
We don’t like breeding from our girls for too long – they deserve plenty of years of relaxation and pleasure after giving us their babies.
So it was time for Snowy to retire, and as much is we really miss having her around, it is good to know that is living in her ‘forever’ home being a pampered pet.
We loved this line so much that we had Snowy's daughter Vanilla, her great grandson Jet, and now we are at the 5th Generation.
Eriador Pantera & Glitterglam Goldberry
We always called Pantera by his nickname of LB. He retired in 2007.
He is a really big boy and has a big voice to match his size. Unlike most studs, LB has never sprayed, and he is extremely affectionate and loving.
LB has found a loving home as a pet, and can be seen on YouTube under his new name of Geoffrey (search for Geoffrey and the Bug).
Having won over the hearts of his new owners, Geoffrey was joined by his mum Goldberry when she retired. So mother and son are now living together.
Towanreef Jetstream of Eriador
Jet was a great-grandson of our lovely Snowy (Glitterglam Evenstar). He was only with us a short while, but during that time he gave us some beautiful babies. We miss our Jet - and he will stay in our hearts forever, as the most loving stud boy - nicknamed 'flopsy' because of the way he would walk up to you, and as he approached he would flop on his side, and roll over to have his tummy tickled. I'll always have a lump in my throat when I remember him.
Eriador Kittens
Here are a few pictures of kittens we have had, that are now in their new homes.
Eriador Galaxy - now named Lady Penelope.
Such a sweet natured and gentle girl, and she very quickly settled into her new home, living with another Bengal.
This is Mojo - one of Snowy’s boys, who shares his home with a pair of Birmans.
What a beautiful girl Tia turned into. She has the most fantastic colouring and beautiful marble pattern.
Apache - he is the litter brother of our girl Cherokee. He has grown into such a beautiful boy.
