Our Bengal Queens

It only seems 5 minutes ago that we started breeding, and I said I would just have one girl, maybe two.  But I find Bengals so addictive – so our family has grown, and is still growing beyond our original plans.

We love all of our girls, and try to give them the best possible life whilst they are giving us the pleasure of their kittens.

Pedigree

Dazzledots Summers Bounty
Unfortunately our beautiful Leading Lady had to be neutered when she got pyometra whilst in quarantine.  I was thrilled when Mara Summers at Dazzledots offered me Summer as a replacement for her.

It was such a generous offer, and so we decided to give our new girl a name that would say a big ‘thank’ you to Mara.

Summer has now arrived, and is every bit as stunning as her photographs.  We are so looking forward to her joining us some time in May.

Glitterglam Goldberry

Starwinds Samrong Skorcher x Llandar Roseanna

Pedigree

Berry has that very special ALC trait – spotting on the tail.  Her tail is alternately banded and spotted.Berrys rosettes

Glitterglam Goldberry - brown rosetted BengalShe also has such incredibly clear definition, a gorgeous rich colour, and stunning rosettes.

Berry has given us some outstanding kittens – with beautiful leopard spot rosettes, wonderful colouring, exceptionally clear coats and whited tummies.

My favourite thing about Berry is the way she talks to her babies – she coo’s and warbles, and serenades them – talking to them all of the time, and checking to make sure that they are all OK.  Check out this video clip to hear Berry talking to her baby Furrari – but you will need the sound turned up.

Berry will be retiring soon, after she has had her last litter in 2008.

Eriador Vanilla

Bambino ArtDeco x Glitterglam Evenstar

Pedigree

Eriador Vanilla - seal lynx point BengalVanilla is our blue-eyed girl in more ways than one.  We were so thrilled when Snowy had this snow spotted girl – and just had to keep her.

She has matured into a beautiful blue-eyed girl.

She is so like her mother in every way – not just her looks, but her love of water, her cheeky looks, and the way she always says ‘hello’ to me when I come in the room.

She is a wonderful mother – so loving and attentive to her babies.

Eriador Moneypenny

Eriador Jonathon Nico x Mojogato Bathsheba of Eriador

Pedigree

White tummied BengalPenny has grown into a gorgeous girl – big nocturnal eyes, puffy whisker pads, rounded ears, White tummed Bengala long back, arrowhead rosettes and a super white tummy.

She has always been a mischief, and continues to be even as an adult.  This video clip shows her as  a kitten, chasing the broom round the kitchen:  Click here for the large video (5.4Mb)

In the video you can see Moonlight in the background – watching what is going on.

Purebliss Moonlight

Purebliss Starynight x Bundassil Silver Filigree

Pedigree

Moonlight is our first silver girl.

Silver rosetted bengalI fell in love with her the first time I saw her – just love those fat whisker pads, and her beautiful dark green eyes!  I am so pleased that Jacky Bliss let me have her.

Moonlight has matured into a stunning girl, with the most wonderful Bengal face – we just adore her, and am sure she will be giving us some gorgeous silver babies

Thank you Jacky, for letting me have her.

Eriador Tangle

Saris Wizard of Gogees x Eriador Moneypenny

Pedigree

Eriador Tangle - rosetted seal mink - whited tummyAt last – our first seal mink girl, and even better, she is beautifully rosetted, and carries whited tummy from her mother Penny and her sire Wizard.

Tangle is just a sweetie – such a loving nature, and a typical mischievous Bengal – we just love her to bits.
